Stretcher

Introduction

Central hub for a lightweight stretcher: four telescopic poles meet in a hub that locks them in position, with the fabric bed attached around them.

The hub

The hub is closed with an extra piece on top and M10 socket-head bolts and nuts. A pin lock holds each pole in position, and the fittings on the poles are epoxy glued.
